August: the New school year. (V2)
We started this year off fast. We did a psa almost immediately, so I did mine on respect. I chose some cool music on YouTube, (non copyright obviously) and I feel it came out pretty good. I've got a lot of really cool ideas for this years projects. Well lets see how this goes! wish me luck!
September: Same old, Same old.
We did a "did you know" psa, and since I am an asthmatic, I did mine on asthma. I did some cool transitions, and some cool voice over effects. We also did a promo project, and I did mine on our school's football team. I did a cool effect, I edited it so that only our players were colored, and the rest of the picture/film was black and white. It looks cool in my opinion, and if you want to see it, go to the videos tab!
October: "This is Halloween!"
This month, we finished up our PSA's. I did mine on relaxation. I synced my transitions with the music and I really like it. after we finished that, we started a news package. I chose to do mine on video game violence. I really thought it was ok. I dont think it was as good as it could be though.
November: Happy Birthday...
This month is my birthday month however I am feeling...well...frazzled...(is that even a word?) I just feel like I need a break. I want a break but I don't want this class to end. I honestly can't wait to start the next project. I had a good idea for my winter news story, but unfortunately it fell through. the people I was going to interview kept pushing it off so much that I had no more time to work on that story. I will have to come up with another idea next month because I am running low on time.
December: Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, or whatever it is you celebrate.
This month is my second favorite month of the year. I finally decided what my news story is going to be on now, I did it on our BBN TV and video production class here at SCHS. I am really excited to show everyone how it turned out. I think it went really well and the end project was pretty good considering it was done in three days. (THREE!!!) I'm pretty impressed at how fast I am becoming at making news stories. I hope you all have a good holiday season and I will see you here next year!
January: New year, new me...
Although I'm not a very firm believer about new years resolutions, this year, I am trying to start. This year, I hope to be a better student, and focus more on my assignments... hopefully.
February: Cupid is Stupid
In the month of February, I created my story board, worked with scheduling errors, filming, and crappy actors, for my new short film, Aurors. I came up with the project on the 8th of February, and completed the story board on the 21st. I filmed on the 24th. I started editing on the 26th. I hope to be done with the spell effects on March 21st. after that, I hope to do the shot editing and splicing by April 6th.
March: Lucky
Top o' the mornin to ya! this month has one of my favorite hollidays in it... St. Patricks day! I may not be irish so I don't know why, but I love this holliday! It's just so goofy, and funny. I love the chill attitudes that are all around this holliday (though that may just be because of all the alchohol consumption).
side note, towards the end of this month, the files for my 'Auror' short film were corrupted, and i lost my data.

April: 3 days.
Matthew 28:6- He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. For those of you who don't yet know, my dad is a pastor at the Lutheran church here, so Christianity has played a major role in my life. I dont wish to force it on anyone, but if you are curious about getting to know God, please, talk to me. In other news, with my last film idea scraped, me and a few friends from my video production hour started a new project titled 'Fort-Fails' which is basically a short parody of the videogame 'Fortnite.'
May: Congrations. You dun it.
This month, we finished our 'Fort-Fails' project. I personally did the editing, and I think it came out pretty good. If you want to see this, head on over to my 'Videos' tab, and you will see it. Soon, my little sister will be promoting from the 8th grade, to being a freshman, and my big sister will be graduating from High School. I am so excited for them, but instead of being able to be with my family while my big sister graduates, I will be filming. I am fine with this however, because I will be with my family afterwards, at the reception. Also, I am glad to actually be doing something during it, not just sitting. I hope I get to do Stage cam again this year, that way I get a front row seat.
